Customer Reviews:
Really enjoy this!
I got this for my birthday, and it was such a good gift. I really like the designs. It's convenient to have everything in a little box. Each one is marked according to difficulty which helps. I can't say I found any of the designs super difficult to make.

Fun for adults and kids
After working our way through the 2006 calendar, my 10 year old daughter and I got the 2009 calendar. It's an excellent way to learn. New techniques are added throughout the months. Some desings use 3-4 sheets of paper by the end, but turn out beautiful. It does take some dexterity and patience as the designs get more complicated, but my daughter can do most of them by herself. The only drawback is some of the designs really need two sided paper, but the pattern is on one side, so the final effect is not as pretty as it could be with writing showing through.

Clever idea, progressively more difficult
This calendar is creative and fun but it is for the somewhat dedicated. The early projects are easy but before long you need to have additional tools and more delicate technique. If you are prepared to get an exacto knife, tweezers and glue to complete these projects ..this is for you. I like the simple cut ones. This is really for adult..not for kids.

Great for crafty people, not so great for toddlers or clumsy people like me
My sister-in-law got the 2008 calendar and my 4-yr-old daughter was drawn to it right away.

Many of the days' projects are simple and easy to cut, but a few days are devilishly hard, with cut-outs and features that you could only do with an x-acto knife.

Still, my 4-yr-old loves it and is learning some hand-eye coordination as well as some safety lessons :)

Recommended, but be warned that most people won't be able to complete all 365 projects.

Excellent!
This calender is just the thing for people who want to get started with arts and crafts.
